Arriving at the seaside without the taxi queue
In summer dozens of charter flights land at Burgas Airport every day, and the queues for taxis and tour operators’ shuttle buses are long. With a VIP transfer the car is waiting and the chauffeur meets you by name in the arrivals hall. You leave straight away and are at the beach in under an hour. North or south of Burgas
The airport is north of Burgas, so the northern resorts are closest: Pomorie is 35 minutes away, and Sunny Beach, Nessebar and Sveti Vlas about 45 minutes to an hour. The southern resorts – Sozopol, Primorsko, Kiten, Tsarevo and Sinemorets – are further, and the road passes Burgas and Burgas Bay. When to book
The season at Burgas Airport runs from May to October, and July and August are the busiest, especially on Saturdays when hotel guests change over. Outside the season there are fewer flights, but we drive all year round, including to Burgas, Pomorie and Sozopol in winter.
Back to the airport
For the return we plan the departure so you are at Burgas Airport 2 hours before your flight. From Sunny Beach and Nessebar that usually means leaving about 3 hours before take-off, and from Sozopol and Primorsko a little earlier. On departure day the chauffeur waits outside the hotel, loads the luggage and drops you at the terminal.
